Sandra Lee

Meet Sandra Lee, BScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Sandra Lee is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from McGill University in 1994. Passionate about continuous learning and professional growth, Sandra actively pursues ongoing education to stay current and expand her therapeutic toolkit.

 

Her advanced training includes topics such as sensory processing and regulation, feeding, pre-printing and handwriting skills, sleep, primitive reflex integration, and vision therapy. Sandra also holds certification as an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer for seating and mobility—supporting clients who require walkers, wheelchairs, or scooters.

 

Sandra has a special interest in working with children with Down Syndrome, a passion shaped by both her professional and personal journey. She is the proud mother of three daughters, including her youngest, who has Down Syndrome. This lived experience has given her a deeper, more compassionate understanding of the challenges and triumphs families may face—enriching her approach to care.

 

Her career spans a diverse range of settings, including:

  • The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, supporting children with developmental delays

  • School, home, and community environments, working with children with various needs

  • A rehabilitation centre for injured workers in Edmonton

  • Homecare services for adults

 

Originally from Montreal, Sandra is fluently bilingual and offers services in both English and French. She brings warmth, dedication, and empathy to her work, and is committed to empowering children and families through individualised, strengths-based occupational therapy.

 

When she's not working, Sandra enjoys walking, kayaking, baking, and indulging in her favourite treats—chocolate and cheesecake!
